WHO WE ARE

The Anchor Bay Community Giving Tree is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created in 1999 from a Macomb County Girl Scout project. The committee was then established and partnered with the New Baltimore and Chesterfield Police Departments to provide Christmas items to local children from underprivileged families. The Anchor Bay Giving Tree Committee, officers of the New Baltimore and Chesterfield police departments and the Girl Scouts, engaged local schools, fire departments and churches to locate eligible families and identify children's needs.

In the twenty-four year ABCGT has served over 3,200 families and over 6,800 children in Anchor Bay communities of: New Baltimore, New Haven, Chesterfield, Lenox and
Ira Township!
OFFICERS
HOW WE HELP

With enthusiastic support from local residents and businesses, this program grew rapidly to serve an increasing number of families and communities throughout Macomb and St. Clair Counties. All our fundraising events and donations go directly to the families we serve. The Anchor Bay Giving Tree provides local families with Christmas items for their children which includes winter coats, hats, gloves, food and toys! In recent years we have grown to be able to help give school supplies and food for Thanksgiving dinners too!
